Eyeball-close peering. High density. Engineered for bursty egress.

Eyeball reach via DFIX peering, AMS-IX wholesale through Netrouting, 20 kW per high-density rack and on-call remote hands. Origin → edge fan-out across the metro fabric, no carrier in between.

Origin → edge fan-out, no carrier in the middle.

Content delivery and streaming workloads have a profile that does not care about average sustained throughput — they care about peak burst, eyeball proximity and the cost of the egress curve.

BareFABRIC Metro lets you fan content from a single origin at THG1 out to edge cabinets at AM7, Nikhef and the Greenhouse cluster — one EVPN, no metro carrier in between. DFIX peering reaches Dutch eyeball networks directly. AMS-IX wholesale through Netrouting AS6206 reaches the rest of the European internet from the same building.

Cabinets are sized for 20 kW air-cooled, with on-call remote hands for fleet maintenance and capacity reservations against the Phase 2 build for growth.

[ What we have built around it ]

Operational decisions that fit content delivery.

The platform is the same. These are the choices we made for the CDN and streaming profile.

Eyeball peering at DFIX

Dutch eyeball networks live in the same room. DFIX peering on every BareFABRIC Port from day one — route servers support RPKI.

AMS-IX wholesale

AMS-IX wholesale through Netrouting AS6206. The route table you see is the route table you get; commodity-priced for customers moving real bandwidth.

Origin → edge fan-out

BareFABRIC Metro stitches an L2 EVPN between THG1 and any other fabric facility. Content fan-out without a metro carrier hand-off.

High-density cabinets

Up to 20 kW per cabinet air-cooled. Sealed cold-aisle, A+B feeds. Capacity reservations against the Phase 2 build for growth.

On-call remote hands

Drive maintenance, optic swaps and pre-staging covered by contracted remote hands. The same engineers handle escalations end-to-end.

Burst-friendly billing

BareFABRIC Port and DF Transit are sized to absorb burst traffic — commits are calculated on the 95th percentile, not on average throughput. No unexpected overage charges when a content launch lands.
