[ Carrier-neutral ]

Connectivity that adapts to you.

Three dark-fiber carriers terminate inside THG1 on redundant paths each. Native peering at DFIX, Tier-1 transit one cross-connect away, AMS-IX via our partner Netrouting (AS6206). You pick the carrier and the contract structure that fits — we issue the LOA and pull the cross-connect.

[ Why it matters ]

Carrier-neutral by structure, not by claim.

Carrier neutrality means more than a marketing line. It is a structural choice: Data Facilities owns the colocation and the BareFABRIC layer-2 / layer-3 kit. We do not own the dark fiber underneath, and we do not have an upstream we are pushing.

That structure gives customers the freedom to choose the best-suited network service provider for their requirements — by route, by term, by contract — without a hosting provider sitting in the middle of the relationship.

The practical effect: customers avoid carrier lock-in, get genuine route diversity, and can renegotiate carrier contracts without leaving the facility.

[ What you get ]

Three benefits, all structural.

Each one falls out of the structure — owning the colocation, not owning the fiber. None of these are extra charges.

Mix-and-match flexibility

Different routes can ride different carriers. Pair Verizon with Eurofiber for diverse-path; layer Relined for a third option. Same hand-off process, different upstream.

Enhanced network resiliency

Six discrete physical paths leave THG1 across three carriers. Single-backhoe risk does not take down a customer circuit. Diverse-path is documented in the install record.

Cost-effectiveness

You compete carriers against each other on the terms that matter — by route, by contract length, by IRU. We do not mark up the underlying fiber; we charge the cross-connect once and let you keep the upstream relationship.

[ How DFDC connectivity helps ]

The operational work, handled.

We handle the LOA workflow, pull the cross-connects in the meet-me room, label the patches, document the diversity in the install record. You light the pair with whatever optics your DWDM kit supports.

Cross-connects to carriers are charged at a low one-time NRC, no monthly recurring. Diverse-path installs are available on request, with documented physical separation.

  • LOA workflow through the BareFABRIC portal
  • OS2 single-mode hand-off at the meet-me room patch
  • Diverse-path installs documented in the record
  • Cross-connects to carriers at low NRC, no MRC
  • Re-pulls and re-routes on contract
  • Carrier sheet available under NDA

Tell us the route. We will quote across three carriers.

Send us the endpoints, the term you want and any diversity requirements. We come back with per-pair, per-route, term-based pricing across whichever carriers you want to evaluate.
